Calico Heights is owned and managed by two families—the Lee family and the Nieto family—brought together by our love of travel, the water, fishing, sailing, and life at Lake Eufaula.

The story of Calico Heights began with our neighbors, who originally built the cabins and cared for the property for many years. When they retired, we had the opportunity to become the next owners and continue the tradition they started.

For the Lee family, Calico Heights is quite literally next door—their family home and property border the retreat. Both of our families have deep roots in the area. Our children and families live here, and this is where we work, play, vacation, and spend time together. As volunteer firefighters and active members of the community, caring for this area and the people in it is an important part of who we are.

We’re proud to carry Calico Heights into its next chapter while preserving the character and hospitality that have made it special. Our hope is to give every guest the opportunity to slow down, enjoy the lake, explore the area, and experience the Lake Eufaula lifestyle we’re fortunate to call our own.
